ABOUT village Bandal

Bandal is a small village located at an altitude of 6200 feet on Sharchi village road and is one of the many villages that together comprise the mesmerizing Tirthan Valley.

It is some 5 kms by road from the riverbed or village Gushaini. Gushaini is the starting point of trek to Great Himalayan National Park, GHNP.

Most part of the village faces the snow capped Tirth peaks (14000 feet) in Great Himalayan National Park (UNESCO Heritage Site). There is a very famous Durga Mata temple in the village and people come from far of areas to take her blessings.

Villagers are very friendly and enjoy casual banters with tourists and they typically spend most of their time working in their farms and orchards or chit chatting over smoke or tea.

The natural beauty of the surroundings could be a source of inspiration and tranquility for anyone.

Kudrat is located at a peaceful distance from the village.
